Orange Park Acres is an unincorporated county island surrounded by the City of Orange in Orange County, California. Composed of mainly upper-middle class residents from the Orange city area, its scenic equestrian trials and scenic views make it one of Orange County’s Hidden gems. The northern border is Santiago Canyon Road and its southern border is Chapman Avenue. It is comprised of approximately 5,500 residents and is about 1.4 square miles in size. Almost all the homes in this county are set on lots of 20,000 square feet, a minimum requirement for this sector of Orange County. It has several equestrian areas, and many stables throughout the community. It consists of one shopping center, and is bordered by the Santiago Canyon College. It was founded in 1928 as the official equestrian destination of Orange County, which is what the community prides itself on today. Much of that historical heritage has been preserved with the lack of sidewalks and street lights, and the abundance of fenced horse trails.
Anaheim Real Estate
As of 2007 Anaheim’s city population was 345,556, making it the tenth-largest city in California and 54th-largest in the United States. Anaheim is the second most populous city in Orange County (behind Santa Ana) and second largest in terms of land area, and it is known for its theme parks, sports teams, and convention center. West Anaheim is notable for its more mature neighborhoods dating from the 1950s, which comprise part of the continuous suburban sprawl extending from Los Angeles. The Anaheim Resort, a commercial district, includes Disneyland and the neighboring hotel and retail complexes. The Platinum Triangle, a neo-urban redevelopment district surrounding Angel Stadium, will soon be populated with mixed-use streets and high-rises. Finally, the Canyon is an industrial district north of the Riverside Freeway and east of the Orange Freeway.
